FF: On what's going on.
WW#1: No, what do you do for a job?
FF: Oh. I'm on EI.
WW#1: What's that?
FF: Employment Insurance - it's insurance against employment
WW#1: You don't want a job?
FF: No, a job would be ok. I just don't want to work.
WW#1: Why do you talk so fast?
FF: Must be the speed.
WW#1: The speed…of what?
FF: The speed of speed. This is speed dating, right? Not downer dating, Debbie, right?
(Bell rings)
WW#1: I'm not Debbie
(Meanwhile…)
Woman #2: You go first.
Footlose: Huh?
W#2: Ask me a question.
FL: Oh, ok. When did you last…you know.
W#2: No, I don't know. When did I last what?
FL: Oh, ah…speed date?
W#2: It's my first time.
FL: And how are you finding it?
W#2: Not fast enough. Surprisingly slow.
FL: I could use a boost, too. Fancy Free's holding. Hold on.
FF: Yeah, so I mostly wear flip-flops…
FL: Excuse me…
FF: Footloose, wait your turn!
FL: Sorry. The speed…
FF: I'm going as fast as I can.
FL: No, the speed, give it to me.
FF: Right here?
FL: Pez it out, man!
(Bell rings)
FF: Oh, man, I was really getting somewhere.
FL: That was then, this is now. The speed, Fancy Free, you're new girl's already here.
FF: Here, take it. You know, you might want to pace yourself.
FL: What do you think I'm doing.
FF: We seem to be a lot faster than then other speed daters. Slow it down with a rye and coke.
(Bell rings)
FL: For the fastest speed daters we seem to be wasting a lot of time.
FF: Here, take it all! You're obviously in a hurry. Don't let me hold you up.
(A very, very short while later)
Woman #3: How you enjoyin' y'self?
FL: My god, this is taking an eternity.
W#3: Excuse me?
FL: I'd like to but how much time has past, 15 seconds? We're gonna have to sweat it out.
(Bell rings three times)
